REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: ASUCI Legislative Council Open House
Date of Presentation: February 19th, 2015
 

Whereas, ASUCI Legislative Council’s Public Info Committee is responsible to spread awareness of ASUCI Legislative Council presence on campus and;

 

Whereas, Open Houses have proven to be an effective way to publicize organizations, clubs and the governing student body and;

 

Whereas, ASUCI Elections are approaching and an Open House will be a sufficient way to advertise for Vacant Legislative Council seats and;

 

Whereas, Tuesday, February 24th from 4pm-7pm Legislative Council twill hos an Open House to be held during Legislative Council in Woods Cove B/C;

 

Whereas, ASUCI Legislative Council members will have the opportunity to recruit and advise  participants that attend the Open House;

 

Let it be resolved that  Legislative Council of ASUCI  allocates $70 out of Council Unallocated Account (7115-6501) to be used for the Open House,

 

Let it be resolved that of the $70 for this event, $50 will be spent on pizza, $10 for soda, and $10 for utensils and water;

 

Let it further be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council members participate by being present and advertise the event.


Let it finally be resolved that the unused funds be returned to Council Unallocated account #7115- 6501 at the conclusion of the event.
