All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Support of Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council's Career Day

WHEREAS, ASUCI Legislative Council members are encouraged to engage their constituents through programs which serve to enrich the lives and experiences of the students at UC Irvine and

WHEREAS, Pharmaceutical Sciences Representative Jason Cheng will host a Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Mixer in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council and

WHEREAS, the Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Mixer is an evening event where Pharmaceutical Sciences students will engage with alumni in order to explore potential career paths other than Pharmacy School and

WHEREAS, such events will help increase the visibility of both the Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council and the ASUCI Legislative Council and

WHEREAS, the following costs are anticipated for this event:

LET IT BE RESOLVED, that Legislative Council supports this event as well as the Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council and hopes to increase the visibility of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council.

LET IT FINALLY BE RESOLVED, that $220.28 (Two Hundred and Twenty Dollars and Twenty Eight Cents) will be withdrawn from the Legislative Council Unallocated Account #6501-7115 and be then allocated to the Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council Account #2053427 towards the costs of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Mixer as listed above under the direction of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Student Council.
