REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: 2015-2016 Executive Cabinet Mid-year Allocation

Whereas, it is the responsibility of the Executive Cabinet to propose the annual and mid-year budget allocation to the Legislative Council for their approval; and,

Whereas, the ASUCI Executive Cabinet met over the course of several meetings to discuss reallocation of funds to balance the existing ASUCI budget and provide sufficient support for upcoming programs; and,

Whereas, the ASUCI Executive Cabinet has met with the SGSM Executive Director Stephanie Van Ginke to discuss the existing ASUCI budget; and, 

Whereas, the ASUCI Executive Cabinet has presented their current financial statements to the ASUCI Legislative Council; and, 

Whereas, SGSM has allocated an additional $80,000.00 to fund ASUCI's operations from the SGSM Payroll Savings account; and, 

Whereas, the $80,000.00 (account 7999) will cover additional expenses and budget items from each of the executive offices; and, 

Whereas, the ASUCI Office of the President is requesting $21,660.00, the ASUCI Office of the Executive Vice President is requesting $7,660.00, the ASUCI Office of the Administrative Affairs Vice President is requesting $5,660.00, the ASUCI Office of the Academic Affairs Vice President is requesting $17,000.00, the ASUCI Office of the Student Services Vice President is requesting $11,320.00, and the ASUCI Office of the Student Advocate General is requesting $700.00; and, 

Whereas, $12,000.00 will be allocated to the MyUCI Referendum campaigning efforts; and,

Whereas, $4,000.00 will be allocated to the ASUCI Constitution campaigning efforts; and, 

Therefore, let it be resolved that the following amounts be allocated as indicated below:
