All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Allocation of funds to Food Pantry Initiative | |

| Whereas, food insecurity is a rising issue on college campuses, Whereas, students shouldn't have to choose between education and good nutrition,
Whereas, the Food Pantry Initiative tackles this problem and serves to both undergraduate and graduate students,
Whereas, the Food Pantry Initiative helps increase productivity, and therefore the academics, by decreasing students' stress that derives from the dilemma of whether to eat or pay for school,
Whereas, the Food Pantry Initiative could use funds from ASUCI Legislative Council's unallocated account to better campaign for its cause,
Whereas, members of the ASUCI Legislative Council feel that a good use of these funds will be in contribution to the Food Pantry Initiative,
Let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council withdraw $600 from its unallocated account #6501-7115 and allocate to account number 206Soar in support of the Food Pantry Initiative and an additional $600 set aside for the "no" campaign.
