REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Reallocations of Funds from Local Outreach Director Stipend

Whereas, The ASUCI Office of the External Vice President creates a structure for their office in which they serve in the 2016-2017 year,

Whereas, Executive Officers spearhead appointments for positions in their respective offices,

Whereas, the External Vice President held interviews at the end Spring Quarter 2016 to hire elected commissioners to serve in the office during the 2016-2017 school year,

 

Whereas, the ASUCI Office of the External Vice President works to ensure advocacy at the local, statewide, and national level, and

 

Whereas, the local efforts of the office overlap with the statewide efforts, and

 

Therefore let it be resolved that the Local outreach branch dissolve into the statewide organizing branch, and

 

Let it be resolved that, the Local Outreach director stipend ($105x9 cycles) in account #6012-7100 be reallocated to programming and publicity account #6423-7125.
