REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Approval of the ASUCI 2017-2018 Budget

Whereas, the new Executive Officers of the Associated Students, University of California Irvine will begin their term in office on the day after UC Irvine 2017 Commencement, and

Whereas, the incoming executives have met, discussed and approved a budget, and

Whereas the Senate is tasked with “Appropriating all ASUCI fee incoming and requiring a timely and accurate accounting of income and expenditure of all funds” (ASUCI Constitution, Article 4, Section B, Clause 1), and

 

Whereas the Senate had the opportunity to review the budget during a presentation by the incoming executives during Senate meetings,

Let it be resolved that Legislative Council hereby approve the 2017-18 ASUCI Budget.
