All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, Senate members have a strong need for identifying themselves to the public so that constituents can better identify their representatives, and,
Whereas, the apparel is a means for gaining ASUCI Senate publicity, and,
Whereas, the apparel can be used by Senate members during tabling hours, office hours, and campus-wide events, and,
Whereas, the apparel will further exemplify ASUCI unity and involvement within the Senate, on campus, and to the larger Orange County community,

Therefore, let it be resolved each individual Senator and Senate Intern pays $15.00 which allocates $639.12 from the Senate Unallocated Account #6501-7805 for the purpose of purchasing ASUCI Senate apparel, which accounts for 12.78% of the 2017-2018 Unallocated Fund.
Let it finally be resolved that the remaining money be returned to the Senate Unallocated Fund after the apparel has been purchased. |
