Whereas there is no current ASUCI Arts Senator,

 

Whereas the Arts Department still needs representation and aid from ASUCI,

 

Whereas ASUCI Business Senator, Julie Lim, reached out to UCI Arts students, including Lily Wu and Kimberly Chin, to know what their needs are,

 

Whereas Arts students have informed Julie Lim that students who take the painting course on campus are lacking a table for the painting studio,

 

Whereas there are 20 students per course and 3 painting courses per year,

 

Whereas the students need a table to stretch canvases, gessoing surfaces, measuring, sketching, and making small studies,

 

Whereas the students wish to purchase the 60” x 24” Flip Top Nesting Table by Office Source Training Tables which costs $238.00 [1]

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that $238.00+ tax and shipping will be allocated from the Senate Unallocated Account #6501-7805 to purchase this table.
