All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: ASUCI recognition of Dia De Los Muertos | |

| Whereas, Dia De Los Muertos is an annual event put on by MEChA to strengthen cultural awareness within and outside of MEChA, and Whereas, one of the missions of ASUCI is to promote unity and collaboration within campus student groups, and Whereas, Dia De Los Muertos is funded by ASUCI?s external budget, it follows that ASUCI would support this event, and Whereas in exchange for support, ASUCI will receive recognition at the event, which will be attended by several hundred people, Therefore, Let it be resolved that ASUCI officially recognizes this year?s Dia De Los Muertos which will take place October 27, 2004 from 7:30-10:30pm at Gateway Commons. Let it finally be resolved that ASUCI put forth efforts to attend this event in show of their support. |
