REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: No Shuttle Stop Covers

Whereas, the Task Force committee was charged with the task of looking into the issue of costs and types of potential infrastructural covers, and

Whereas, after the chair engaged in extensive research of costs and benefits of the canopies, and

Whereas, after speaking with dozens of fellow students at the bus stops as well as on the buses, and

Whereas, there was a very apathetic response to the canopy idea, the Task Force Committee Chair has deemed the infrastructures to be an inefficient use of student money,

Let it be resolved that no ASUCI funds be allocated in the purchase of any infrastructure,

Let it further be resolved that if the author of Resolution 40-35 wishes to pursue this matter, the Task Force Committee Chair recommends that the canopy be student built,

Let it finally be resolved that any other tasks to be charged to the very busy task force committee be done so verbally during announcements or during Task Force?s meetings.
