REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Ratification of the Fall quarter 2005 elections

Whereas, fall elections for ASUCI Legislative Council seats were held, and

Whereas, those elections were held in accordance with the ASUCI Constitution, By-Laws, and Elections Code, and

Whereas, ratification of the election process recognizes the ASUCI election process as fair, equitable for all participants, and

Whereas, the time period for election complaints for violations has passed.

Therefore let it be resolved that the results for the ASUCI Fall quarter 2005 Elections be certified as official and the results be released by the ASUCI Executive Vice-President and  ASUCI Elections Commission seeing that no claims of violations have been made.

Let it further be resolved that ASUCI welcomes all newly elected officials with open arms, and with the spirit of togetherness so that the interests of students can be served and met with great efficacy.
