All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Change of Timeline for Fall Elections | |

| Whereas it is provided for in the ASUCI Elections Code (Art. VII, Sec. A, Sub 4) that Fall Elections will be held during the 8th week of the quarter, and Whereas it is also provided that the elections shall run Monday-Thursday (see above) for a total of 4 voting days, Whereas during the Fall '07 quarter, the 8th week of classes falls on the week of the Thanksgiving Holiday and it is a University Holiday on both Thursday and Friday of that week, Whereas it follows the spirit of the ASUCI Elecitons for candidates to enjoy the full amount of campaign time allowed to candidates of other years, Let it be resolved that the ASUCI Fall '07 Elections be moved to week 7, to be held Tuesday through Friday, and the elections schedule amended to reflect the coresponding dates and times chosen by the elections commissoner and distributed in the elections packet from the Office of the Executive Vice President, so as not to confict with this holiday. Let it finally be resolved that these changes only pertain to the Fall elections of 2007. |
