REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Certification of Elections Results

Whereas the Elections Commissioner has completed the ASUCI Elections for Fall quarter 2007 as of Friday November 16th with almost 400% higher turnout than the fall election of the previous year, and

Whereas the Election was conducted in accordance with the spirit of the ASUCI By-Laws, Constitution and Elections Code; each of which having been properly followed during the appropriate dates as determined by Legislative Council,

Let it be resolved that the Legislative Council acknowledge and approve the elections process so that the election results for Fall 2007 can be adopted and posted as soon as the constitution and elections code permit.
