REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Intensified Campus-life Underway - ICU

Whereas, the ASUCI constantly strives to provide new, innovative, desired, and diverse events and programs to its students,

 

Whereas, the cost of producing a mid- or large-scale events on camps is expensive,

 

Whereas, the cost of producing traditional events inhibits the ability of the ASUCI from providing the potential of new events,

 

Whereas, increasing funding specifically for on-campus events would help expand the events offered to students by ASUCI,

 

Whereas, increased and diverse programming is a desire of the overall student body,

 

Whereas, the Intensified Campus-Life Underway (ICU) would address this issue,

 

Therefore, Let it be resolved that the attached initiative be placed on the ASUCI Spring 2008 election ballot. (See attached for ballot language and guidelines).
