REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Elections Code Revision

Whereas, it is the duty of Legislative Council to “establish election procedures and the ASUCI Elections Code” under Article IV, Section B, Clause 7 and 9 of the ASUCI Constitution, and

 

Whereas, it is the duty of the Rules Committee to “review and revise the…Elections Code,” under Article XI, Section A, Clause 1, Subsection a of the Legislative Council By-Laws, and

 

Whereas, the Executive Vice President’s Elections Commissioner has been working with interested Council Representatives, Executives, and members of the Professional Staff to suggest changes to the Elections Code, and

 

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that the following changes to the ASUCI Elections Code be amended as follows,
