All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Creation of a Campus Branding and Pride Committee

Whereas UCI’s programs and success are vastly overshadowing the campus' public perception,
Whereas the creation of Unified Marketing Materials and Brand Materials will greatly improve the branding of the campus,


Whereas, no specific student government establishment exists which serves to address concerns of student rights, and

Whereas, the Legislative Council serves to act as a voice for students,

Whereas, Article III, Section B, Part 10 of the ASUCI constitution states that the Legislative Council as the ability to form standing or ad hoc committees,

Let it be resolved that the Legislative Council establishes a UCI Branding and Pride ad hoc committee, and

Let it be further resolved that membership of this committee be comprised of the entire body of the Legislative Council.
