All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Commissioner Appointments for the Office of the Executive Vice President

Whereas the Executive Vice President’s office is the political advocacy wing of the Associated Students, UCI,

Whereas the Executive Vice President’s office has conducted interviews for various positions in the office,

Whereas the Executive Vice President, the Legislative Liaison and Campus Organizing Director have collectively made a decision on the applicants for these various positions,

Whereas, certain applicants clearly showed their passion for the office and have demonstrated that they can excel in their positions,

Whereas, the budget was passed previously with commissioner stipends,

Be it resolved that Legislative Council appoint the following commissioners in the Office of the Executive Vice President:

Christine Park, Chief of Staff
Andres Gonzales, Local Government Liaison
Malerie Mitchell, Legislative Analyst
Carissa Cruz, Publicity Commissioner
Patrick Le, Campaign Manager
Shacole Hamlett, Campaign Manager
