All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas Fall Elections will be underway Week and campaigning has begun for candidates running for Legislative Council seats, Whereas it is important that there is a large turnout to this election to show the support of undergraduate students for their representative student body, Whereas there is currently very little unbiased publicity regarding elections, Whereas the Elections Code Article XII outlines the need for Deputy Elections Commissioners, Whereas the Elections Commissioner, John Kim, and the Executive Vice President, Sarah Bana, have come together to recommend Deputy Elections Commissioners, Whereas Carissa Cruz has produced amazing publicity for the Student Center Art Competition last year and continues to design for ASUCI, Whereas Sonia Park applied for Elections Commissioner and shows a genuine interest in the elections process, Whereas Mark Francisco is an ethical person and is interested in playing an unbiased role in the elections process, Be it resolved that Carissa Cruz, Sonia Park and Mark Francisco be appointed Deputy Elections Commissioners for Fall 2009 elections. |
