All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: UC Irvine Budget Write-In | |

| Whereas, the UC budget has clearly been a problem this year, resulting in student fee increases, Whereas, the UCI Alumni Association, UCI Community and Government Relations, and ASUCI are all playing a role in trying to combat that, Whereas, these entities have collectively created an event called the UC Irvine Budget Write In for Tuesday, December 1st, Whereas, it is important that Legislative Council members play a role, especially since Legislative Council passed a resolution against student fee increases, Be it resolved that Legislative Council conclude it’s meeting 45 minutes ahead of time on Tuesday, December 1st to attend the Budget Write In at the Phineas Banning Alumni House. Be it further resolved that the Public Information Committee work to spread this effort to the rest of the campus. |
