REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Run off Election

Whereas, there was a three-way tie in the Fall 2010 Elections for the Biological Sciences Representative seat, and
 
Whereas, Section VIII of the Elections Code states that a run-off election shall be held in the event of a tie, and
 
Whereas, Section VIII of the Elections Code further states that a run-off election shall be held within two weeks of the last election, lasting two consecutive days,
 
Let it be resolved, that a run-off election for the Biological Sciences Representative Seat be held from 9am December 1st to 4pm December 2nd of 2010, and
 
Let it further be resolved, that Financial Statements for the run-off election will be due December 3rd at Noon and that Complaints be due on December 3rd at 4pm, and
 
Let it further be resolved, that Legislative Council will hold a meeting during Finals Week of Fall 2010 if necessary  to approve the run-off election process so the results may be posted.
