REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Ex-Officio Seat

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the position of Ex-Officio, and 

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of Legislative Council to fill any vacancies by appointment of the Rules Committee as outlined in the ASUCI By-Laws, 

Whereas, it is also outlined in the ASUCI By-Laws that a simple majority vote of all voting Council members present is required to appoint a candidate to their respective seat, 

Therefore, let it be resolved that Sesar Galvez be appointed to the open Ex-Officio seat on the ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of the Fall Quarter 2011.
