REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Ex-Officio Position

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the Ex-Officio position;

 

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council, as outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws, to fill any vacancies by appointment;

 

Whereas, a simple Majority vote of council present is required to appoint a candidate to their potential and respective seat on Legislative Council;

 

Whereas, per January 25th, 2011, Legislative Council convened in an official meeting, interviewed and voted accordingly on the respective Winter 2011 Legislative Council candidates;

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that Jedrek Dineros be duly appointed to an open Ex-Officio seat on the ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Fall Quarter 2011.
