All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Ex-Officio Position

Whereas, there is a vacancy in Legislative Council for the Ex-Officio position;

 

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council, as outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws, to fill any vacancies by appointment,

 

Whereas, a majority vote is required of the council present to appoint a candidate to their potential and respective seat on Legislative Council,

 

Whereas, Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Legislative Council interviewed the Ex-Officio Applicant representing the Government of Undergraduate Student Housing (GUSH),

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that the representative of GUSH, Tyson Monagle, be appointed to the open Ex-Officio seat on ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Spring Quarter 2011.
