All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment for At-Large Representative

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the At-Large Representative position, and

Whereas, it is the duty and repsonsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment, 

Whereas, a majority vote of council present is required to appoint a candidate to their potential and respective seat on council,

Wheras, on April 12, 2011, Legislative Council convened and interviewed the At-Large Representative applicant,

Therefore, let it be resolved that Sejal Thaker be duly appointed to the open At-Large seat on the ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Fall Quarter 2011.
