REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of TGIF Commissioner

Whereas the current Executive Team has completed the hiring process of the TGIF Commissioner for the 2011-2012 academic year,

And whereas member of the staff need to be placed on payroll and begin performing their duties,
 
And whereas according to Article IV, Section B, Subsection 3 of the ASUCI Constitution, Legislative Council is responsible for “approving, by a majority vote…the commissioner appointments of the Executive Officers,”
 
Let it be resolved that Dahnish Shams be confirmed as TGIF Commissioner and be afforded all the privileges associated with such appointments.
