REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Health Sciences Representative

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the Health Sciences Representative, and

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment, 

Whereas, a 2/3 Majority vote of council present is required to appoint a candidate to their potential and respective seat on council,

Whereas, per November 29th, Legislative Council convened in an official meeting,

Therefore, let it be resolved that Wendy Hu be duly appointed to the open Health Sciences seat on the ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Spring Quarter 2012.
