All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: ASUCI Endoresement of My Student Life Initiatives | |

Whereas, ASUCI and Anteater Express would greatly benefit from an increased Associated Student fee and Anteater Express fee,
Whereas, an increase of $5 per student per quarter would allow ASUCI to improve its existing programs and explore new events and services for the student body,
Whereas, an increase of $8 per student per quarter would allow Anteater Express to maintain and expand its existing programs and services for the student body,
Whereas, it is the responsibility of ASUCI to “enhance the quality of student life, and foster recognition of the rights of students in this university community” (ASUCI Constitution, Preamble),
Whereas, it is the responsibility of Legislative Council to “promote the welfare and interests of the undergraduate students” (ASUCI Constitution, Article IV, Section A),
Whereas, the UCI My Student Life Initiatives would increase the vivacity of student life at UCI,
Let it therefore be resolved, that ASUCI endorses the UCI My Student Life Initiatives. |
