REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: TGIF, Vendor Fair and Farmer's Market Appointments

Whereas, TGIF oversees and allocates funds of over $120,000 per year and the Vendor Fair and Farmer's Market generate over $65,000 per year,

Whereas, the Adviser of the  Vice President of Administrative Affairs oversees and works with TGIF, Vendor Fair and Farmer's Market to ensure that the grants and business transactions of these commissions are operating smoothly,

Whereas, the appointments for the commissioners of these commissions must be selected very carefully without bias or favoritism in order to ensure the success of these commissions,

Whereas, the opinion of the Adviser of the Vice President of Administrative Affairs is necessary in the selection process for the commissioners of TGIF, Vendor Fair and Farmer's Market,

Therefore, let it be resolved that the Adviser for the Vice President of Administrative Affairs will serve in a consultative role in the selection of the appointments to TGIF, Vendor Fair and Farmer's Market Commissioner positions, prior to the the approval by Legislative Council.
