REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment to ASUCI Judicial Board

 Whereas, a seat on the ASUCI Judicial Board became vacant on Winter Quarter when a previous justice graduated,

Whereas, applications were available and the Legislative Council has had an opportunity to review the candidates, 

Whereas, according to the ASUCI Constitution (Article V, Section B, Subsection 3) the Executive Cabinet is charged with “Nominating all appointments to the Judicial Board for approval by a two-thirds  (2/3) vote of the Legislative Council”,
 
Whereas, after reviewing the applications and conducting interviews, the Executive Cabinet is nominating Christopher Barclay for a seat on the Judicial Board,

Let it therefore be resolved that Legislative Council approves of the nomination and Christopher Barclay be appointed to a seat on Judicial Board until the conclusion of Spring quarter 2014.
