REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Judicial Board Justice

 Whereas, they is currently a vacancy on ASUCI Judicial board,


Whereas, applications were available for several weeks and the Executive Cabinet has had an opportunity to review the candidates, 

Whereas, according to the ASUCI Constitution (Article V, Section B, Subsection 3) the Executive Cabinet is charged with “Nominating all appointments to the Judicial Board for approval by a two-thirds  (2/3) vote of the Legislative Council”,

Whereas, after reviewing the applications, the Executive Cabinet nominated Stephanie Chukwu for one of the two vacant seats on the Judicial Board,

Whereas, after conducting interviews, Legislative Council has found Stephanie Chukwu to be a suitable candidate, 


Let it therefore be resolved that Stephanie Chuwuku 
be appointed to a seat on Judicial Board.
