REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Judicial Board Nomination

Whereas there is currently two (2) vacancies on the ASUCI Judicial Board.

Whereas the ASUCI Judicial Board is approaching their busiest season and is in need of two (2) new Judicial Board members.

Whereas the ASUCI Constitution, Article VI ASUCI Judicial Board, Section C, 3 states that “In the event that the Executive Cabinet fails to submit a nomination(s) to the Legislative Council within two (2) weeks of the occurrence of a vacancy, nominations may be made by any ASUCI elected representative.”

Whereas those two weeks stipulate in the Constitution have passed, Vanessa Garcia, as an ASUCI elected representative, nominates Blanca Molina for a seat on the ASUCI Judicial Board.

Whereas Blanca Molina meets all the requirements and is capable of serving on the Judicial Board upon appointment.

Let it therefore be resolved that Blanca Molina be nominated for a seat on the Judicial Board.
