REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of At-Large Representative

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the At-Large Representative; and

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment; and

Whereas, per Tuesday, May 20th, 2014, Legislative Council convened to interview, debate, and vote upon the candidates; and

Whereas, Legislative Council has voted to appoint Nick Harris to the open At-Large Representative Seat;

Therefore, let it be resolved that Nick Harris be duly appointed to the open At-Large Representative seat on ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Fall Quarter 2014.
