REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Office of the President Transparency Project Co-Director

Whereas, due to unforeseeable circumstances, there has been a need to hire an additional director for the Transparency Project under the ASUCI Office of the President, and

 

Whereas it is customary for the appointments of an Executive officer to be approved by the Legislative Council (Art IV, Sec. B, Sub 3), and

Whereas, members of the staff need to be confirmed for payroll and have already been performing their duties,


Let it be resolved that Allen Chiu be confirmed as Co-Director of the Transparency Project under the ASUCI Office of the President and afforded all privileges associated with such appointments.
