REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 

All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Formation of Advocacy Committee

Whereas, each council member is required to serve on one of the four offered committees: Rules, Advocacy, Finances and Public Info and,

Whereas, all of the committees are required to pick by a majority vote a Chair and Vice Chair and,

Whereas, by a majority vote Maryam Farooqui was chosen to be Chair for Advocacy and David Hollingsworth for Vice Chair,

Whereas, Rahim Siddiq, Rame Bashir, and Tony Tizcareno will also compromise of the Advocacy Committee,

Let it be resolve, that the rules committee will fulfill all duties stated in the ASUCI constitution and by-laws,

Let it further be resolved, that the Legislative Council’s rules committee consists of the following current members:
