All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Appointment of Judicial Board Associate Justice | |

| Whereas, there is currently a seat on the ASUCI Judicial Board that is currently vacant, Whereas, Judicial propriety calls for the appointment of new justices to fill the Judicial Board with all possible haste so as to allow proper training prior. Whereas, the ASUCI Constitution lays out specific deadlines for the nomination and confirmation of new justices which have hitherto not been met by the Executive Cabinet, Whereas, the ASUCI Constitution in Article VI, Section C, Clause 3 states: "In the event that the Executive Cabinet fails to submit a nomination(s) to the Legislative Council within two (2) weeks of the occurence of a vacancy, nominations may be made by any ASUCI elected representative," Whereas, after reviewing the applications and conducting interviews, the Legislative Council nominates Annette Lee for one of the two vacant seats on the Judicial Board, Let it therefore be resolved that Annette Lee be appointed to a seat on Judicial Board. |
