REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of the Humanities Representative

Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the School of Humanities; and

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment; and

Whereas, per February 25th, Legislative Council convened to interview, debate, and vote upon the candidates; and

Whereas, Legislative Council has voted to appoint Lauren Kerner to the open Humanities Representative seat,

Therefore, let it be resolved that Lauren Kerner be duly appointed to the open Humanities Representative seat on ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Fall Quarter 2014.
