Whereas, the Club Sports Program offers a welcoming and warm environment for all UC Irvine students and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, nation identity, cultural identity, sexual orientation, or political ideology, but is instead inclusive of all students at UC Irvine.

Whereas, Teams within the Club Sports Program are student led and funded and offer students many leadership opportunities.

Therefore let it be resolved that the Associated Students of the University of California, Irvine supports and endorses the Club Sports Program at UC Irvine and the Club Sports Spirit Initiative as its contributions to improving student life at the University of California, Irvine are invaluable to the student body.
