REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: SPFB Funding Allocations for Fall 2014 and Winter 2015

Whereas, the Student Programming Funding Board's purpose is "to ensure through the review and approval process that the selected undergraduate organization programs are open to the entire campus community, have broad campus appeal, and promotes social, cultural and educational activities that are of interest to the greater campus community" (SPFB Guidelines, Student Programming Funding Board, A-Purpose),

Whereas, the Student Programming Funding Board consists of "The ASUCI President, the Finance Chair, the Public Info Chair, the Rules Chair, the Committees Chair [also known as the Advocacy Chair], Cross Cultural Center member appointed by a majority of the five umbrella organization boards, and 3 student At-large members appointed by Legislative Council" (SPFB Guidelines, Student Programming Funding Board, C-Membership),

Whereas, the Student Programming Funding Board meets on a weekly basis on Wednesdays from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in open (to the public) meetings held in the ASUCI Conference Room to interview organizations and deliberate on funding allocations,

Whereas, in an effort to increase transparency within ASUCI, the Student Programming Funding Board have published their funding allocations to the public on the ASUCI website,

Therefore let it be resolved, in accordance with the ASUCI SPFB Guidelines, the Student Programming Board publish the following report:
