All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Appointment of Associate Justice to Judicial Board | |

| Whereas there is currently a vacant seat on the ASUCI Judicial Board, Whereas, judicial propriety calls for the appointment of new justices to fill the Judicial Board with all possible haste so as to allow proper training, Whereas the ASUCI Constitution lays out specific deadlines for the nomination and confirmation of new justices (ASUCI Constitution Article VI, Section C, Clauses 1 and 3), Whereas, after reviewing the submitted applications of the applicant, Alvin Phan (ASUCI Legislative Council) and Parshan Khosravi (ASUCI President) find Adam Keppler qualified to serve on the Judicial Board and recommend them for an interview to the ASUCI Legislative Council, Whereas, the ASUCI Legislative Council convened to interview and debate upon Adam Keppler, Whereas ASUCI Legislative Council recommends the appointment of Adam Keppler to serve as Associate Justice on the ASUCI Judicial Board, Therefore, let it be resolved that Adam Keppler be appointed to a seat on the Judicial Board for two years (from the start of their term, seven days after the passage of this legislation). |
