All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Resolution on the Engineering Hall Computer Labs | |

| Whereas, the Engineering Hall computer labs are an integral part of the average UCI engineering student’s life and,
Whereas, these four computer labs have the specialized computer programs needed by UCI engineers for their different classes/projects and are open at all hours of the day and,
Whereas, the inability to use this computer lab significantly hinders their educational efforts and studies and,
Whereas, the vast majority of engineering students do not know or understand why these labs are now unused and,
Whereas, there has been no notification by email or otherwise from the administration to this change and,
Whereas, the administration has not given any indication if and when the labs will be converted back to their former critical purpose to the students and,
Let it be resolved, that ASUCI Legislative Council disapproves of the unexpected closing of all Engineering Hall Computer Labs and,
