REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Truth and Transparency Commissioner Adjustment

Whereas, due to personal reasons, one of the Truth and Transparency Co-Commissioners has stepped down from their position,

 

Whereas, due to unforeseeable circumstances, the ASUCI Office of the President needs to consolidate the two ASUCI Truth and Transparency Co-Commissioner positions to one ASUCI Truth and Transparency Commissioner,

 

Whereas, it is customary for the appointments of an Executive officer to be approved by the Legislative Council (Art IV, Sec. B, Sub 2), and

 

Whereas, members of the staff need to be confirmed for payroll and have already been performing their duties,

 

Let is resolved that Theone Ly be confirmed as the one and only commissioner of the Truth and Transparency Commission under the ASUCI Office of the President and afforded all privileges associated with such appointments.
