All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Social Ecology Representative

 Whereas, there is currently an open seat for the Social Ecology Representative, and

 

Whereas, it is the duty and responsibility of the ASUCI Legislative Council outlined in the Constitution and the Legislative Council By-Laws to fill any vacancies by appointment,

 

Whereas, per February 9th, 2016, Legislative Council convened to interview, debate, and vote upon the candidate Michael Bender,

 

Whereas, ASUCI Legislative Council voted unanimously to appoint Michael Bender to the open Social Ecology Representative Seat,

 

Therefore, let it be resolved that Michael Bender be duly appointed to the open Social Ecology seat on ASUCI Legislative Council until the end of Spring Quarter 2016.
