All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Endorsement of Food Pantry Initiative | |

| Whereas, the ASUCI Legislative Council has a resolution affirming the ballot language for the Food Pantry Initiative; and, Whereas, the ballot language for the Food Pantry Initiative referendum was reviewed by the ASUCI Legislative Council; and, Whereas, the ASUCI Legislative Council passed R51-59 unanimously and agreed to put the Food Pantry Initiative to the ballot of the 2016 ASUCI Spring Elections; and, Whereas, the ASUCI Legislative Council passed R50-22 in November 2014 to support efforts in alleviating student food insecurity; and, Whereas, the UC Office of the President approved the ballot language in February 2016; and, Whereas, the AGS Council passed a bill unanimously with a vote of 25-0-0 to put the Food Pantry Initiative to the ballot of the 2016 AGS Spring Elections; and,
