REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: The Green Initiative Fund By-Law Amendments

Whereas, The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is an on-campus program that funds and promotes sustainable and educational projects on campus; and,

Whereas, it is the duty of ASUCI and TGIF to continuously update the by-laws that reflect in the best interests of the student body; and, 

Whereas, the newly revised TGIF By-Laws fixed multiple typos and outdated clauses in the old TGIF By-Laws; and, 

Whereas, the newly revised TGIF By-Laws allows organizations and students to re-apply to TGIF for additional funds in a future academic year after it was originally rewarded; and, 

Whereas, the newly revised TGIF By-Laws must be approved by at least two-thirds (66.67+%) of the eligible voting members of the ASUCI Legistiatve Council; and, 

Therefore, let it be resolved that the ASUCI Legislative Council approves the newly revised TGIF By-Laws (shown below).
