REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Student Fee Advisory Committee Representative

Whereas, the Student Fee Advisory Committee is a campus committee comprised of students, faculty and staff reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor (P-EVC) and is charged with assisting the P-EVC in regular efforts to ascertain attitudes of the student body, faculty on matters pertaining to Student Fees, to provide a continuing study of Student Services Fee (SSF) and Tuition, to recommend SSF funding allocations to the P-EVC, review SSF budget changes implemented by the P-EVC, recommend a campus SSF level to the P-EVC, and review new and existing Course Materials and Services Fees and make a reccomendation to the P-EVC; and,

Whereas, it is the duty of the ASUCI President Parshan Khosravi to appoint undergraduate representatives to SFAC; and,

Whereas, undergraduate representatives were carefully selected after an interview and selection process conducted by the ASUCI President Parshan Khosravi; and,

Whereas, ASUCI Legislative Council must approve the appointments of these selected undergraduate representatives; and,

Therefore let it be resolved that ASUCI Legislative Council approves the appointments of the following students to serve as Undergraduate Representatives on the Student Fee Advisory Committee:

  3. Auzzsa Mae Eaton

  4. Kajal Bains

  5. Judy Zhu
