All requests may be typed and submitted to the Executive Vice President no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The Executive Vice President reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Council session if the Executive Vice President feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Chief Media and Technology Officer for the 2016-2017 year

Whereas the position of Chief Media and Technology Officer is vacant for the 2016-2017 academic year,


Whereas it is the duty of the ASUCI Executive Cabinet to appoint the Chief Media and Technology Officer as stated in the revisions to the ASUCI constitution,


Whereas the ASUCI Executive Cabinet has conducted a two-week long application process to select the Chief Media and Technology Officer in the Spring,


Whereas the ASUCI Executive Cabinet has selected Shrishti Bhatnagar for the position of the Chief Media and Technology and believes that they can follow the duties of the position,



Let it be resolved that Legislative Council confirms the appointment of Shrishti Bhatnagar as the 2016-2017 Chief Media and Technology Officer, if and when the revisions to the ASUCI Constitution, adopted by the undergraduate student body during the Spring 2016 elections, take effect.


Let it be resolved that the Chief Media and Technology Officer, if and when the revisions of the ASUCI Constitution take effect, follow their duties diligently and with integrity towards all students, acting without bias and working to serve the position to the best of their abilities as listed in the new ASUCI Constitution.
