All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, according to the Elections Code Article IX, Section D, "The Elections Commission shall set the date and time for Special Elections, subjected to the approval of the Senate" and,
Whereas, the Elections Commission has created a timeline for the Special Election and,
Whereas, the timeline is essential for students to review the progress of the Special Election and,
Let it therefore be resolved that the Senate approves the below timeline for use in the upcoming Special Election:
Fall Week 9 - Wednesday, Elections Packet posted Fall Finals Week - Friday 5:00 PM, Deadline to Declare Candidacy Winter Week 1 - Tuesday 7:00 PM, Mandatory Candidates Meeting Winter Week 2 - Elections Week Winter Week 3 - Results Posted
