Whereas, The ASUCI Office of the Student Services Vice President selects staff appointments to serve in the 2016-2017 year,

Whereas, Executive Officers spearhead appointments for positions in their respective offices,

Whereas, the Student Services Vice President held interviews at the end Spring Quarter 2016 to hire elected commissioners to serve in the office during the 2016-2017 school year,

Whereas, due to the Chief of Staff position becoming vacant following Namek Nguyen’s resignation,

Whereas, all commissioner positions have been filled in the Office of the Student Services Vice President with the recent appointment of the new Chief of Staff positions,

Let it be resolved that the following individuals serve in their capacity listed:

Andrea Kutcher, Head Chief of Staff

Sean Ong, Co-Chief of Staff

Wing Ung, Co-Chief of Staff

Kelli Miranda, Athletics Commissioner

Rusteen Haghi, Business Relations Commissioner

Malcom Morales, Campus Outreach Commissioner

Stephanie Luo, Concerts Commissioner

Christina Nguyen, Films Commissioner

Julia Deutsch, Soulstice Director

Resolved, that the above students remain confirmed or reconfirmed for their respective positions as members of the staff of the ASUCI Office of the Student Services Vice President.

REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE

All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.
