All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

Whereas, Article 6, Section 3, Item 2G states, “[The duties of the President of the Senate, are]To call special task forces when necessary or needed.”, and Whereas, ad hoc committees have been created by the Senate to address various issues affecting the students, and Whereas, the Senate believes that there is a need to assist the Disability Resources Center with any troubles they may encounter at UCI to create a more welcoming environment for people with disabilities,
Therefore, let it be resolved that an ad-hoc committee be created, chaired by Lydia Natoolo, vice-chaired by Jude Noureldine that is responsible for assisting the underserved Disability Resources Center with any needs they may face.
Let it further be resolved that this committee be named the “Disability Assistance Committee” Let it further be resolved that the Disability Assistance Committee be composed of the following current Senate members, with more members to be added if seen necessary:
