REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE |

All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, the ASUCI Senate elects the President of the Senate to serve as the President of the Senate,
Whereas according to Article 6, Section 3, item a, the ASUCI Senate has the ability and responsibility to elect a new President of the Senate within the last two weeks of each quarter for them to serve as President of the Senate the following quarter,
Whereas, at the end of Winter Quarter the Senate held a reelection for the President of the Senate,
Whereas, the Senate selected Grecia Orozco on March 23, 2017 to serve for the Spring Quarter of the 2016-2017 school year as the President of the Senate,
Therefore, let it be resolved that Grecia Orozco serve as the President of the Senate for the Spring Quarter of the 2016-2017 school year. |
